Iron Bog Lake

We had the annual Idaho backpacking trip this past August.  Instead of going to the Whiteclouds as we have done in the past, we went to Iron Bog Lake.  The benefit of the destination change is that the hike was much shorter, so younger kids could come.  There were a few lakes in the area.  These are some of the photos that I took.  They were taken on slide film, then scanned with a friend's slide scanner.

Right Brain:  I always like backpacking.  This year was great, because the hike was much shorter.  We only had about a mile and a half walk in, leaving more time to fish and take pictures.  We took several day hikes, which were very scenic.  Left Brain finally got out of the way and we got down to business.  The best landscape photos are below.
